Thanks for asking about an educational discount at Adobe. According to their website, Adobe’s official policy on Student Discounts is that they are available subject to the following:
You must provide official, current proof of enrollment in one of the following:
· University or College - accredited public or private university or college (including community, junior, or vocational college) that grants degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two years of full-time study*
· Primary or secondary school - accredited public or private primary or secondary school providing full-time instruction*
· Homeschool — as defined by state homeschooling regulations
NYIP is licensed by the New York State Department of Education and accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council. Many of our students have reported success in obtaining the discount from Adobe, but we can not guarantee that every student will qualify. Offering or declining educational discounts is entirely up to Adobe. We have no control over Adobe’s actions, and no responsibility for their decisions.
A Letter of Good Standing addressed to Adobe is enclosed to confirm your NYIP enrollment.
We suggest that students download the software directly from Adobe at http://www.adobe.com/products/catalog/software._sl_id-contentfilter_sl_catalog_sl_education_sl_popular.edu.html. Then follow the instructions for online registration and submit the letter to Adobe without additional commentary or information that could result in their declining your submission.
In our experience, students who try to obtain the educational discount verbally, by telephone, report much greater difficulty and more declines than those who simply register with Adobe online.
